About the Role

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in testing bookingbased web applications and smart user experiences. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation testing, understand complex booking workflows, and ensure high-quality, seamless, and secure customer journeys across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Create test plans and test cases validating application requirements

• Design, document and execute test cases, record, document and analyze test results

• Identify, confirm, report and manage defects through resolution

• Conduct test case reviews to ensure requirement coverage

• Perform functional, installation and performance testing

• Create and execute manual test plans and test cases for assigned components/features

• Report test status to Department and Project Management

• Contribute to QA team process improvement.

Domain Knowledge (Booking & Smart Experience)

• Understanding of real-time inventory and availability systems

• Knowledge of pricing rules, promotions, coupons, and discounts

• Payment gateway testing (cards, UPI, wallets, refunds)

• Multi-language, multi-currency, and localization testing

• High-traffic and peak-load scenario validation

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience software testing

• Expert knowledge of writing and executing test cases based on business requirements

• Exposure to bug reporting tools like JIRA

• Good knowledge of software testing life cycle

• Extensive acquaintance of software testing tools

• Experience with both automated & manual testing processes

• Experience with Usability, GUI, Functional, System, Regression and Smoke/Sanity testing.

• Testing experience on web and mobile applications is preferred

• Perform API testing for backend services and integrations

• Mentor junior QA members and contribute to QA best practices

• Experience testing booking or reservation websites (travel, hotels, events, tickets, e-commerce, etc.)

• Experience testing Content Management Systems (CMS) used for dynamic website management
