Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled, and proactive DevOps Engineer who will manage and enhance our infrastructure, ensuring continuous integration and deployment, system reliability, and high availability across cloud (AWS) and on-premises (local data center) environments. This role demands excellent Linux knowledge, hands-on DevOps skills, and a commitment to friendly, professional communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and maintain servers primarily on RHEL & (RHEL based distros).
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab/Jenkins & containerization.
• Handle infrastructure virtualization using hypervisors; create, maintain, and monitor virtual machines (VMs) ensuring high availability.
• Administer and maintain MongoDB databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Perform server maintenance tasks including updates, backup management, security patching, and monitoring.
• Configure networking components and handle related troubleshooting and optimization.
• Handle cloud operations primarily on AWS, an exposure to Azure or GCP being a plus.
• Address and resolve issues promptly, demonstrating proactive problem-solving capabilities.
• Interact professionally with users, providing IT support as required.

Requirements

Required:

• Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL & similar distros).
• Expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience managing virtualization environments (hyperV, Citrix & KVM, etc.).
• Database administration skills, especially MongoDB, MySQL, MSSQL.
• Good practical knowledge of networking, monitoring, and maintaining high availability environments.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with multiple cloud platforms (AWS required, Azure/GCP advantageous).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.).

Certifications (Preferred):

• AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or similar)
• Kubernetes Certification (CKA, CKAD)
• Linux Certifications (RHCSA/RHCE would be a plus)
