About the Role

We are looking for a Node.js Developer with at least 2 years of experience, including proficiency in Express and a minimum of 6 months working with MongoDB. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing dynamic websites with features such as search, filter, listing, and paging, and be well-versed in handling JSON and XML data formats. A fundamental knowledge of on-page SEO is also required to ensure that the web applications are optimized for search engines.

Preferred Skills-

Experience with other Node.js frameworks and validation libraries.
Knowledge of additional databases and ORM libraries.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

What will you be doing?

Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using Node.js, Express, and MongoDB.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Implement features such as search, filter, listing, and pagination effectively.
Design and implement data storage solutions using MongoDB.
Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and functionalities.
Work with JSON and XML data formats for data exchange and third-party integrations.
Apply basic on-page SEO techniques to web applications to enhance search engine visibility.
Ensure the implementation of security and data protection measures.
Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in web development, SEO strategies, and best practices.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in Node.js development with a focus on Express.js.
At least 6 months of hands-on experience with MongoDB.
Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, core JavaScript, and jQuery.
Experience with implementing search, filter, listing, and pagination in web applications.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Basic knowledge of on-page SEO principles and best practices.
Familiarity with RESTful API integration.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
