Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
Ability to write & execute test cases from business requirements
Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
Knowledge of STLC and QA processes
Exposure to common testing tools
Manual testing + basic understanding of automation
Ability to write simple SQL queries
Knowledge of usability, GUI, functional, system, regression & sanity testing
Experience testing web and mobile applications
Clear defect reporting skills
Willingness to learn automation & scripting
Understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform testing
Basic knowledge of test documentation & reporting
Ability to collaborate effectively with QA & development teams
Assist in creating test plans and test cases
Execute manual test cases and document results
Identify, report, and track defects
Participate in test case reviews
Support functional, installation, and performance testing
Perform manual testing for assigned modules/features
Communicate test progress/issues to the QA Lead or project team
Maintain QA documentation and test artifacts
Contribute to improving QA processes and adherence to best practices
