About the Role
We are looking for a Business Analyst to play a key role in the development of new features in Optimiser.com. You will be responsible for engaging with key external stakeholders to analyze, capture, and document requirements that vary from change requests to new products and features. The Team provides analysis, process (re) engineering and mapping and Project Management skills across the business. The role holder will work on a wide variety of business improvement and transformation initiatives across the estate and business operations.
What will you be doing?
- Gather, refine and document business and technical requirements taking into account IT systems, data sources and business processes
- Identify and solve business and technical problems through root cause analysis and troubleshooting
- Maintain a detailed working knowledge of the technical and functional aspects of the products and systems in order to support the delivery of solutions and change management
- Identify opportunities for improvement through analysis and cost/benefit assessment
- Support the implementation and delivery of releases as part of a cross-functional team
- Undertake ‘as-is’, ‘to be, gap analysis
What are we looking for?
- Demonstrate previous CRM project delivery experience (Salesforce, SAP, Oracle etc.)
- Knowledge of a wide variety of IT infrastructure solution specially cloud based solutions
- Agile principles and the role of the BA in this methodology with a solid understanding of SDLC
- Experience in tools for managing requirements like JIRA, Confluence
- Writing requirements specifications in Epic and Story format for both user interface and Back End/API driven processes
- Experienced in working across multiple delivery workstreams practicing distributed development in a global environment
- Exceptional communicator both written and verbal, who can adapt terminology depending on the audience to foster fruitful relationships
- Technically minded, adaptable and highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering improvements resulting in clear business value
- Organised and able to deal with tight deadlines through management of individual workload and able to operate within the context of a team
- Strong facilitator able to deal with changing priorities ensuring expectations are managed appropriately
- Proactive and flexible with a desire to learn and appetite for change
